You think your adjective is clarifying, but really, it's confusing. If only you guys had hired me to vet this language the first time around, I'd have just edited it out and it never would've created all of this confusion. Or did Tom create the confusion.... Seriously, it's dumb, it's confusing, it only covers part of what we do, and I haven't heard one argument for it. Why can't we remove it and replace it with "beer and mead." This is a big problem with BJCP, we seem to use this list for catharsis, but it never really results in change. There are a lot of things the BJCP got right, but there are a lot of things we've learned over millions of beers that would be nice to get implemented. It's a pretty stodgy group.
