Many lists provide a way to manage your subscription via a web interface.
Do not know if Judgenet does.  If so, the proper thing to do is to
temporarily set your list subscription to send you no mail.  Then set up
the vacation autoreply to tell *real people* you are OOO.  When you get
back, change your list subscription back to sending you mail.

I am a list admin for several lists and it is amazing how many people do
not bother to do this, even when they can.
