Subject: Number of bottles for AHA 1st round. 


I recently received an invitation to judge in one of the AHA regionals
which seemed to indicate that two bottles would be required for the
first round entries this year.  Since the rules are still not
available on the AHA website, I have not been able to confirm this.  I
would expect such a change to be controversial.

Anyway, at this point in competition season, I need to plan where to
commit my sometimes limited remaining bottles of older beers.  If I
will need to have 5 available for the AHA, that may change what other
competitions I enter certain beers into.

I won't get into other aspects of such a change until all the details
come out.  For now, the deadline is getting close, and I would
appreciate knowing right away just how many beers I need.
