I guess I just never noticed that in previous announcements. I'm sure y'all are doing a great job, and I wish I could join you... but life has a nasty habit of getting in the way of things like that. Look forward to seeing you at the 2nd Round at NHC. thanks, Mark ______________ ______________ ______________ ______________ Webmail provided by InfoToGo.net ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Terry Felton Date: Thu, 6 Apr 2006 10:34:18 -0400 Subject: 10th Annual Western New York Homebrew Competition The 10th Annual "Amber Waves of Grain" Western New York Homebrew Competition will take place on May 19th and 20th . This is a large competition, with strong entries, and very good prizes. Last year we judged about 420 beers, this year we hope to reach 500. Of course, all those beers require a lot of judges. Although the Buffalo/Niagara region is blessed with a large cadre of BJCP judging talent, we can't do this without a lot of extra help. Please check your calendars, and consider joining us for our 10th anniversary. We need both judges and entrants. Complete details and online judging registration are available on the web at: http://www.niagarabrewers.org/awog/ - Judging will take place at the Grand Island, NY Knights of Columbus on both Friday and Saturday, May 19th and 20th. - Lunch & dinner provided Friday. Breakfast & Lunch provided on Saturday. - Special category for Gluten Free beers. - A prize drawing (liquid goodies) will be held from among judges who register to judge before April 15th. Contact us soon. - Entries accepted April 4th – May 12th, 2006. $5 per 2 bottle entry. Check the web for details. - The "Brewers' Night Out" banquet will be held Saturday evening at the University of Buffalo's Center for Tomorrow banquet hall. Details are posted on the web site.
