Note: All AHA Regions still accept hand-written entry forms for the events listed above for those opting to enter using the traditional route. Cheers, Alan Hord Organizer for Northwest - Seattle CC: Janis Gross, NHC Organizer ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Jon Tobey Date: Tue, 28 Mar 2006 08:58:46 -0800 (PST) Subject: Homebrew Fair II Once again, the Homebrew Fair was a huge success and a great educational experience. We evaluated over 90 beers in 4 hours (giving the brewers in-person feedback on each beer), with fully 20% of them scoring above 40 pts and going to BOS! There are some good brewers hiding in the woodwork out there. We could not have put on the event without the gracious time and support of the Seattle judges, professional brewers, clubs, beer literati, and homebrew store owners who came out to help set up, evaluate the beers, and - in the case of the stores - sponsor the venue and the prizes. Thanks to everyone for putting this event on!
