**RESULTS**

2006 AHA Club-Only Big, Beautiful Belgians Homebrew Competition
Hosted by the Greater Everett Brewer's League (GEBL)
Everett, Washington - February 11, 2006

We ended up with a total of 50 entries from all over the United States and
Canada (3 blonds, 6 dubbels, 16 tripels, 13 golden strongs, and 12 dark
strongs).  Overall quality of the beer was very good, and it was an
enjoyable day of judging.  It was difficult to choose the top three, but we
finally decided upon:

First Place:  	Steve Cook - Burbank, CA
			18D Belgian Golden Strong
			Maltose Falcons Homebrewing Society

Second Place: 	Frank Spirek - Corvallis, OR
			18C Belgian Tripel
			Heart of the Valley Homebrewers

Third Place:  	Daniel Evans - Redhook, NY
			18E Belgian Dark Strong
			Hudson Valley Homebrewers 

We will mail out the judging sheets to each entrant this week.
