If "This means your clubs' annual pubcrawl, your club meetings, group brewing sessions, BJCP prep courses and special events can all qualify."; then how about the situation where a brew shop owner that surely educates more new brewers, teaches more people about styles than most judges? Can credit be given for the poor working stiff that keeps you supplied with fresh grain and hops? I personally haven't been able to judge many competitions since opening my store. Occasionally am able to nip in and catch a BOS round after closing but that relies on a competition running late and actually being able to shove people out the door at my true closing time. Heck, if a club meeting counts as service to the BJCP, teaching a few dozen brewers a year surely counts for something. Just had to ask, NL ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ***** Important Subscriber Information ***** To post a message to JudgeNet, send it to judge`at`synchro.com.
