Call for Judges =96 New York State Fair Homebrew Competition

Announcing the Sixth Annual New York State Fair Homebrew =
Competition at
the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse New York. =20 This annual 
competition
is open to New York State residents that wish to enter=20homebrewed
beers, ciders, and meads in any of the categories defined by the
updated BJCP guidelines. =20 Entry forms and fees are due by July 18 
at
the NYS Fair Entry Department 581 State Fair Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13209.
Entries consisting of two bottles of 12 oz or greater =
must be dropped
off at any of several locations by July 23, 2004. =20Additional
information and drop off locations can be found at

The NYS Fair Homebrew Competition is also the last round=20in the 
annual
NYS Homebrewer of the Year competition. =20Additional information on 
HOTY
can be found at http://www.nyshoty.org.

The competition judging, organized in conjunction with the =
Salt City
Brew Club, will take place on Friday July 29 and Saturday, July 30 at
the State Fair Grounds and we need your help! =20Individuals 
interested
in participating as Judges or Stewards should contact Bob =
Santore

Participants, judges, and stewards will receive a complimentary
admission ticket that can be used for entrance to the =
New York State
Fair, good from August 25 - September 5, 2005. =20The =
SCBC members will
have a limited number of beds available for judges and =
stewards that
need overnight accommodations near Syracuse. =20We will also=20be 
providing
designated drivers for a trip to local downtown establishments on July
29th. =20Please help us make this competition a success!
