Howeve we do not collect or store judge scores. There are approximately 350 HB competitions each year and these use various softwares to manager the competitions. Someone may in fact keep individual judge scores but I'll bet not all that many. Certainly the BJCP does not. Perhaps when Alan Hord's competition package is completed and in widespread usage we may be able to facilitate such a suggestion. However, it's enough to get consensus scores entered by competition organizers; it would be yet another to ask them to spend the time to enter individual judge scores. We are however considering a judge feedback and rating system (imagine the EBAY feedback and ratings for sellers) that would provide to each judge feedback and ratings by any brewer or entrant who wishes to provide that feedback, either positive or negative. We're sorting through the privacy issues and how we could use this proactively to improve judge performance or recognize outstanding judges. This is just in the proposal phase so don't expect it soon.
