I don't smoke now and I'd say I have about 5%-10% better taste perceptions. One problem is that if you don't let people smoke (down wind) they may be worse Judges since they will be irritable and just want to be done. Of course the flip side of the is that pot has been shown to enhance flavor perception. So do we force everyone to smoke a little pot before a competition?
