Re: Digest for the period 11/20/2003 - 11/21/2003 (Lyle C Brown) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Pete Date: Sun, 23 Nov 2003 09:43:26 -0500 Subject: Equipment list I noticed that Ed's comprehensive list included "style guide" and while I usually bring my own copy, I agree that it's nice to have on the table, preferably multiple copies. This sounds like a horrific expense, but when the styles are formatted with clean page breaks you could print four copies of the (admittedly significantly longer) guide and place on the table the sheets relevant to the style being judged. I have re-formatted the current style guide and would be happy to send it to Gordon if people would like it posted to the web site for download, that seems more efficient than people trying to contact me individually. I also hereby volunteer to massage the new guides in like manner when they come out. It's not particularly pretty or efficient for personal use, but is convienient at competitions. ********************************************************************** * JudgeNet - the beer judge digest * * Send plain text only, no HTML, MIME, encoded text or attachments * * Send subscription requests & changes to judge-request`at`synchro.com * ********************************************************************** ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Lyle C Brown Date: Sun, 23 Nov 2003 17:37:27 -0500 Subject: Re: Digest for the period 11/20/2003 - 11/21/2003 > On Fri, 21 Nov 2003 01:03:10 -0500 "JudgeNet - the beer judge digest" writes: > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > From: Steve Casselman Date: Thu, 20 Nov 2003 09:49:12 -0800 > Subject: Scent relieve > What about a nasal spray? The idea would be to strip any hop oils or any kind of residue. YUCK! I'll stick to bread and crackers, thank you. Lyle C.
