BJCP officers and scoresheet samples (Ed Westemeier) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Gordon Strong Date: Mon, 28 Jul 2003 17:03:02 -0400 Subject: Roggenbier? I'm looking for some help in locating commercial examples of Roggenbier. Several years ago I was able to get the Schierlinger, but I can't seem to find it any more (even looking for it under the new name Thurn und Taxis). Can anyone find this? Any other examples? Anyone got tasting notes on it? I've got the descriptions from Michael Jackson's Beer Companion, but I was looking for other sources. We're planning on adding this to the style guidelines and I'd like to have as accurate and complete data as I can find. Thanks, Gordon p.s. while scouring my local beer shop I was surprised to find Kulmbacher Reichelbrau Eisbock. It looks new (the label is a bit different from 1996). I can't wait to try one side by side with one I've saved from '96. First, Samichlaus, then this one, next up is Thomas Hardy. Can't keep a good beer down, I guess. ********************************************************************** * JudgeNet - the beer judge digest * * Send plain text only, no HTML, MIME, encoded text or attachments * * Send subscription requests & changes to judge-request`at`synchro.com * ********************************************************************** ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Mike Dixon Date: Tue, 29 Jul 2003 07:26:19 -0400 Subject: Project Gutenbrew, historical beer books online Jay, Thanks very much.
