Subject: New Grand Master Judge 


It is a pleasure to announce that the Board of Directors has approved the
promotion of Dave Sapsis to the rank of Grand Master Judge.  Dave has
distinguished himself as a homebrewer, competition organizer, exam grader,
lead exam grader, Associate Exam Director and Exam Director.  He has
accumulated over 100 experience points as a judge and between his grading
experience and service in national office he has accumulated two Grand
Master Service Requirements.  Quite an accomplishment and a significant
contribution to beer appreciation and evaluation.  It is very satisfying to
see this outstanding contributor receive the recognition and thanks he so
clearly deserves.
