Please help out this fledgling competition if you can. ********************* From: "Matthew S. Jarvis" Date: Thu, 9 Jan 2003 16:40:33 -0800 Subject: Florence HomeBrew Competition I am coordinating the competition for the Winter Folk Festival in Florence on Jan 25th. I thought I'd send you the info in the hopes that you could get the word out for entries and judges. Yep, I need judges - bad. I have no idea how many entries we'll have, but I think I can get by with 10-12 judges. So far I have about 2.... Judging starts at noon, Sat Jan 25th. Best of Show is a $30 gift certificate to the Double Barrel Homebrew Supply shop in Florence. Category winners win a 3.3# can of extract (hey - it's *something*) Can you maybe ask around and see who might be able to help me out? Thanks! Matthew S. Friends of the FEC "Winter Folk Fest" is planning on featuring some of those same blue-ribbon pies, breads, and homebrewed beer with judged contests. We are putting out the call for granges, civic organizations and individuals to enter with their best recipes of fruit pies and yeast breads. Then take those same best recipes and sell them at a booth during the festival and reap some funds for your organization.
