Also try not to repost entire digests/posts that have no bearing on what you are saying. If you do choose to include previously posted material for context, please try to edit it to the portions that are germane. Finally, a name and location are always helpful. Thanks for your consideration. And to at least get some beer content in here, Its my opnion the almond aroma/flavor is due to a specific ester, the same one used in almond extract and marzipan. I have had it in numerous beers, some where it was welcome, others where it wasn't. salud, --dave sapsis, sacramento dave sapsis, sacramento --Message_Part_SYNC4289416CE6-- --Next_Part_SYNC4289416CE6-- Subject: Digest for the period 1/5/02 - 1/6/02 Date: Sun, 06 Jan 2002 01:01:24 -0500 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="Next_Part_SYNC4289416CE6" --Next_Part_SYNC4289416CE6 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Table of contents ---------------------------------------------------------------------- posting procedures/almond (Dave Sapsis) --Next_Part_SYNC4289416CE6 Content-Type: multipart/digest; boundary="Message_Part_SYNC4289416CE6" --Message_Part_SYNC4289416CE6 Content-Type: message/rfc822 Return-Path: Received: from harrier.prod.itd.earthlink.net ([207.217.120.12]) by synchro.com with SMTP (Mailtraq/1.1.6.1176) id SYNC4275416AC2 for judge`at`synchro.com; Sat, 05 Jan 2002 11:38:31 -0500 Received: from 1cust81.tnt5.sfo3.da.uu.net ([63.23.15.81] helo=dsapsislp2) by harrier.prod.itd.earthlink.net with smtp (Exim 3.33 #1) id 16Mtpw-0002y5-00 for judge`at`synchro.com; Sat, 05 Jan 2002 08:38:24 -0800 Message-ID: <005201c195e3$ad06bfa0$510f173f`at`dsapsislp2> From: "Dave Sapsis" Reply-To: "JudgeNet - the beer judge digest" Errors-To: judge-owner`at`synchro.com Sender: judge`at`synchro.com To: JudgeNet - the beer judge digest Subject: posting procedures/almond Date: Sat, 5 Jan 2002 04:22:41 -0800 X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 5.00.2919.6600 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V5.00.2919.6600 X-Hops: 3 X-POST-MessageClass: 10; Mailing List Message Good folks, While I think the recent spat of activity on this forum is great, I'd like to make a couple suggestions to make the dialog run smoother: When responding to something on this forum, can everyone please edit their subject lines to read something other than "Re: Digest for the period 1/3/02 - 1/4/02"?
