There was a question elsewhere about the almond flavor recently and it's not one I've come across, although I suspect some nutty, sherry notes could be sensed as almond and thus this might be a form of oxidation. Coconut I knew the answer to (at least I think I do) in that it is a form of oxidation, when not intentionally added (as in the excellent toasted coconut porter that won BOS in the NHC a few years ago). Any other thoughts on unintentional almond aroma and flavor?
