Once again it is my pleasure to announce the Annual Puddle Dock Homebrew Contest in Portsmouth, NH, sponsored by the Seacoast Homebrewers Club and held as usual in conjunction with the Strawbery Banke [sic] Museum's annual Fall Brewers Festival. This year the contest is Saturday, October 13 and the judging will begin at 9:00am. As usual, registration will begin at 8:15am and we will have a light morning snack. Cash for lunch will be provided so judges may take advantage of the many food vendors participating in the festival. We are BJCP registered so judging points will be awarded. This year we are also part of the qualifying rounds for New England Hombrewer of the Year (NEHBOTY), Mead Maker and Cider Maker. Interested judges should contact Rod Silverwood at rodman40 at mediaone.net to register. DO NOT REPLY TO ME. We will be happy to provide directions and any other information regarding accomodations at the time of your registration. Please indicate if you will be entering our fair contest so that we may ensure you do not end up judging your own beers. Also indicate any judging preferences you may have, etc....... REMINDER: This is an OUTDOOR festival event being held in OCTOBER in NEW ENGLAND. The morning may be quite cool and dewy while the afternoon may exceed 75F. Dress accordingly. We will be under a very large tent so the event will procede rain or shine. We've never been rained out but it has been a bit cool now and then. We are actively looking for stewards as well, so bring your significant others along.
