"Spooky" will be held on Saturday, October 28 beginning at 9AM at the Rock Bottom - Chicago, 1 W. Grand Ave., Chicago, IL 60610. All current BJCP Styles will be accepted. This year we are a MCAB qualifying event. A list of MCAB Qualifying Styles is available at http://brew.oeonline.com/mcab/mcab3/index.html And don't forget the ever popular "Smashed Pumpkin" and "Worst of Show" categories! Entry forms are available on our webite at www.chibeer.org and many past entrants and judges will receive them via US Mail. The deadline for entries is Saturday, October 21. Questions should be addressed to Jim Hodge at jdhodge at worldnet.att.net or Jeff Sparrow at jeffrey.c.sparrow at monsanto.com. Judges and Stewards are, of course, needed. Please contact Jim Hodge at jdhodge at worldnet.att.net to register. Please arrive early! CBS couldn't possibly hold an event with easy parking, could we? To help we have negotiated an $8.00 valet rate with a local lot available at the Rock Bottom door. The prefered method, however, is by public transportation, because all lines meet downtown. The CTA Red Line is lit'rally within crawling distance of the door! We would also suggest the $5 ROUND TRIP METRA WEEKEND FARE Boo! --Next_Part_SYNC34412034CD-- Received: from srvr22.engin.umich.edu (root at srvr22.engin.umich.edu [141.213.75.21]) by srvr5.engin.umich.edu (8.9.1a/8.9.1) with ESMTP id BAA12443 for ; Wed, 11 Oct 2000 01:05:46 -0400 (EDT) Received: from synchro.com ([24.147.232.105]) by srvr22.engin.umich.edu (8.9.1a/8.9.1) with SMTP id BAA01600 for ; Wed, 11 Oct 2000 01:05:45 -0400 (EDT) From: "JudgeNet - the beer judge digest" To: "Digest Recipients" Reply-To: "JudgeNet - the beer judge digest" Subject: Digest for the period 10/10/00 - 10/11/00 Message-ID: Date: Wed, 11 Oct 2000 01:00:58 -0400 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/digest; boundary="Next_Part_SYNC34412034CD" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Hops: 1 Status: RO --Next_Part_SYNC34412034CD Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Table of contents ------------------------------------------------------ Spooky Brew Review 00 (SPARROW, JEFFREY C.
