The main reason for this note is to say that Steve Johnson had two great ideas and I'd like to throw my voice in with his-- Refresher Courses! I only get a chance to judge between 2 and 4 times a year and lately I feel more dull each time. I am really happy that we're going to have an exam in Charlotte this spring so now I have an excuse to study with my club in preparation again, but there's got to be an easier way-- and in a different format, I hope. A BJCP Book. I'd pay extra for that. I'd even pay annual dues for its upkeep to keep everything in it current. Or if the BJCP would license the name, I'd be happy to go through a third party to purchase it. (Maybe Randy Mosher could put something together-- I really liked the format of the HB'ers Companion. Are you out there Randy?)
