   Does anybody have any specific (brand & model) recommendations
for competition judging cups?  These would be an appropriate size,
shape, clarity, and (lack of) aroma.  We've used the "flavor wheel"
cups in the past, but they're rather expensive, especially when you
add in shipping (and some people have complained the "flavor wheel"
is distracting when visually inspecting a beer).  Some other cups
we've come across have not been perfectly clear or have had a
distinct plastic aroma.

   Also, we now have the on-line judge registration forms
up on the web, so any judges and stewards who wish to join
us in the flatlands of east-central Illinois on June 11-12
for the 5th Annual Boneyard Brew-Off can pop over to

The BJCP exam will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, June 25th, at Beer Unlimited
in Malvern, PA as a kickoff to the BUZZ OFF Homebrew Competition.   For
those interested in taking the test the first time or retaking the exam for
a higher score, please contact Chuck Hanning at 610.889.0396 or by email at
hanning at voicenet.com.  Additionally there will be a single prep session on
Wednesday, June 2nd, at Beer Unlimited at 7:00pm.
