Why is this? Although many clubs do indeed publish some kind of a newsletter on a monthly basis, a common thread among even those published monthly (not to mention the less frequent ones) is that getting article submissions from the membership is a never-ending (and often futile) effort. I've seen one newsletter that offers contributors a discount off next year's membership dues in return for each article. Others have "homebrewer of the year" points awarded to people who (among other things) submit articles. In short, it ain't easy, and the _writing_ of many of these newsletters Bill sees falls to the newsletter _editor_, many of whom were "volunteered" for the position as it is and do it out of a sense of duty more than anything else. Can we realistically expect them to contribute to yet another newsletter when it's enough of a battle to get their own newsletter out? Now go have a beer, Bob Paolino rpaolino at earth.execpc.com Madison I can taste my beer. Can you? Bland Beer is the Worst Sort of Tyranny! Don't drink bland industrial swill; it only encourages them to make more. --Next_Part_SYNC85135EBED--
