It seems a very simple way to keep everyone happy. There is no reason why anyone but the entrant should see the exact scores attached to his or her name; it's a simple privacy issue, which any contest that wishes to encourage entrants should take seriously and not dismiss with a glib "lighten up." That's all I have to say about the subject.
