Sometimes it's hard to get this kind of information. However, they forgot to answer the $64 question - WILL JUDGES AT THE FIRST AND SECOND ROUNDS RECEIVE POINTS IN THE BJCP PROGRAM???? I've asked this question before in previous posts, but it's getting down to the wire here. Some of us need a DEFINITE answer on this NOW, so we can make plans to judge the first round and attend the conference (or do something else instead). My situation is probably similar to that of many - I'm not going to spend my time & effort judging ANY competition that doesn't give me point credit in the BJCP. So how about it James and Karen and the BJCC? If you judge the AHA Nationals this year will you get credit in the BJCP? No answer on this means no participation by a lot of us. NEED QUALIFIED JUDGES FOR CALIFORNIA BEER FESTIVAL Due to the fantastic response in beer entries for this first year California Beer Festival, the need for qualified judges has to grow as well. The initial first round judging has been delayed until 9:00 AM 15 April 1995. We have a need for an additional 10-15 judges. If you would like to participate contact Bob Whritner at 619 458-9840 during the evening and get your name in the cue. The judging will commence at 9:00 AM with a second session starting at 2:00 PM on the 15th of April. A select panel will judge the "Best of Show", Saturday 29th of April during the festival which is being held at the San Diego Sports Arena. Festival hours are 2 PM to 10 PM. There is a great cross section of U. S. craft brewed and European beers to taste. Help me out. I am looking forward to Saturday.
