He may very well be one of my best influences for a libertarian left winger. The only association I have with Rush is that I understand he enjoys a good cigar now and then too. Is there something more I should be aware of in my rotundness or political views? The remarks are somewhat pertinent about the lack of trust many of us seem to have in the AHA so we reiterate, come out come out wherever you are? The appointees are surely beyond reproach and wonderful people .I am by no means questioning their abilities or intent, but can't we get to vote on this stuff? I thought we were going democratic or will it be the same old boys routine for some time to come? How's about some new faces and new ideas (not me but some others who are also as capable)? Could we add some more new faces to outnumber the old BJCC and make it more democratic? Odd numbers are wonderful and we could add 4 more and still be useful. The more the merrier. Well , it seems as if there are many things that need to be worked out and that will take some time. In the meantime , we still are putting the details of a kinder ,gentler program together and welcome any and all to join us in that vein. Enjoy and don't forget to brew! Unless they do something completely out of character, I feel they will make more than adequate decisions until elections can be held. Here's to the BJCC, Scott Bickham - -- ======================================================================== Scott Bickham bickham at msc.cornell.edu ========================================================================= ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Mar 1995 23:58:12 -0500 From: BrewNews at aol.com Subject: Southeastern US BJCC Nomination I would like to nominate Ed Greenlee (greenlee at tyrell.net) as the Southeastern U.S. representative to the BJCC.
