Hmmm. Typical? Not around here. There have been study groups organized who set up an exam at the end of their preparation time and some clubs have offered tutoring sessions when an exam is near. Administrators frequently do not live close enough to the exam area to allow them to run reviews or classes. Phil Moeller is the only examiner I know of in recent years to offer classes followed by an exam and he's in Sacramento. Your best bet is to organize your own study group and then set up an exam date. There is a 60 day lead time for exams so keep that in mind. You need at least 6 people and a place which will host an exam. I'll see what exams are on the schedule now. Perhaps there is one which isn't too far away which you could attend.
