I think this was taken after I finished cooling the beans (turn the heater down to zero and the fan up to the point just before beans start jumping out!)

You can see the thermocouple well entering the beans at about the 11-o'clock position.  It's mostly buried in the beans at this point.  Near the beginning of the roast it just barely reaches the top of the bean mass.
